In this collection, Cecilia takes inspiration from a selection of silk vintage flags of the world her father has kept for over 60 years. These original flags came as souvenirs in cigarette packets and were issued to WW2 soldiers in the frontline.
You will find a selection of uniquely crafted flags carefully sewn and put together. Cecilia has designed dozens of flags so please check back often to see the increasing and varied selection. If you cannot see what you are after, she is happy to design them for you.About todocecilia
Cecilia is a curious peddler and scribbler. Her art explores the relationship between homage and hobby.
When she is away from her studio, you can find Cecilia collecting anecdotes and curios around football paraphernalia, medieval art and 1950s cinema.
